How Can severe Internal And External Hemorrhoids Be Treated?

I have both internal & external hemorrhoids which have not responded well to medicine or IRC treatments. My gastroenterologist tells me that I now need surgery to remove them. How safe is the surgery? I keep reading about how painful recovery is & I am terrified.

take things positively and be afraid of procedure....procedure is to be done to cure your problem.. so have faith in doctor and god.. and be Positive..in your case conservative treatment is not effective.. that's why doctor has suggested you to go for surgery
